Trying breweries have shown that these varieties are creating very fine beers, no matter wheather you want to brew a typically Pilsner or Lager or spare-hoped american types or Weißbier. These varieties are developed to complete the offer on varieties.

One more step into this direction is the offer of the brand new so called "special Flavor hops".

'Opal' has very good aromatic ingredients beside a high content of alpha-acid. In cultivation the harvest is high on good grounds. The resitance against Verticillium, Peronospora and powdery meldew is good up to very good. The plant grows up zylindric, the quantity of humbles is high and well-formed! The riping time is middle to early.
