Why hay?

 

We believe that hay is more suitable as a filling material in boxes than paper because we can source it locally, because its production requires far less energy, and because you, the customer, can either dispose of it in your organic waste bin or reuse it as mulch in your garden, for example.

 

Why “natural hay”?

 

Our hay comes from an extensive orchard meadow on a hillside. It is necessarily produced by hand and cannot be pressed due to its location. This hay is usually of little interest in animal husbandry due to the space it requires. As a filling material, however, it has the huge advantage that its structure is preserved, providing optimal protection for the plants during their journey!
