'Talisman' is a descendant of Late Cluster (old US bitter variety) x male wild hops from 1958, i.e. the father is unknown. It was selected in Idaho and registered in 1965.
The alpha acid content is around 5-6%
beta acid at approx. 3%
Cohumulone: approx. 50%
At the beginning of the 1970s 'Talisman' had a certain cultivation significance and then disappeared.
