This hop stake is used to attach a climbing aid such as shearing or wire to the hop bine.
The hop stake is sustainably made of wood and is inserted into the ground directly next to the hop bine in spring time.
One or more strings or wires can then be tied to this hop stake to serve as a climbing medium for the hops.
As soon as the hops have wound at least 1 m around the climbing aid, the peg can be removed again. So it is more durable and can be used for several years.
