The variety 'Tradition' is related to the old variety 'Hallertauer mittelfrüh'. It combines all the good characteristics of the famous 'Hallertauer' and combines it with high resistance against pests and deseases.
Because the habitus of this variety is very ästhetic and the beautiful humbles are builded very continous this variety is very popular for home use and decoration as well as for home-brewing.

'Tettnanger' is in cultivation for a very long time similar to 'Hallertauer' or 'Saazer'. Because of the very fine aromatic ingredients this "old" variety is still in cultivation but only in the region around the town Tettnang near Bodensee.
